The road is one of Brighton & Hove’s most exclusive roads, forming on one of the main routes in and out of the City. The majority of houses on Dyke Road Avenue hold values well in excess of a million pounds, making it a honey pot for the affluent society within the city.

The project at Dyke Road Avenue involved many challenges, completely refurbishing and redeveloping the site from what was a dilapidated 1960’s building, into a modern and worthy home for the road. The client spared no expense in creating the highest standards of living, with five large bedrooms, a media room, spacious open plan living space, an indoor swimming pool, covered walkway alongside of a landscaped garden and a development of a double garage to the front of the property. The property was built in circa 1820 by John Podmore and is believed to be the architectural making of John Rebecca of Worthing. The property is Grade 2* Listed and one of its best characteristics is a grand staircase of single flight, dividing at half landing.

Centurion acquired Clayton Priory Estate in August 2011 and has plans to refurbish the property and associated land to the highest of standards. The accommodation divides between three double bedrooms in the Grand main house and four double bedrooms in the very close Coach House. The two buildings have an illuminated walk path between one another. Separate parking for each property is available if preferred.
